Obituary:

Mrs. W. M. Day, age 74, died at her residence near Thomaston Saturday, May 13th (1944) after a very brief illness.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Treadway of Thomaston; eight sons, Mr. W. R. Day, Mr. W. C. Day, Mr. R. T. Day and Mr. M. E. Day of Thomaston, Ga.; Rev. L. L. Day and Mr. P. L. Day of Savannah, Ga.; Mr. L. M. Day and Mr. J. L. Day of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Mr. Joe Fallin and Mr. Mitchell Fallin of Thomaston, Ga.; five sisters, Mrs. (L)eona Moore of Pitts View, Ala.; Mrs. Nettie Penn, Mrs. Emma Fallin, and Mrs. Sallie Barron of Tnomaston, Ga. and Mrs. Perlie Belle Alford of Columbus, Ga.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 15th at 11:00 A. M. from Atwater Church with Rev. Clifford Bradshaw assisted by Rev. J. W. Bailey officiating. Interment Atwater Cemetery.
